The SmartICE application is a pragmatic reading tool for iOS devices equipped with NFC, designed to access health information, medication schedules, emergency contacts, and personal data stored on ICE media (ICE band, life bracelet, ICE card, ICE sticker, medical headband, ICE tag, ICE patch).

In emergency situations, particularly when a user is unresponsive or unconscious, rescuers can retrieve the essential data via the SmartICE app from the corresponding ICE artifacts (band, card, key ring, or patch).

The app does not rely on an active internet connection, reducing exposure of personal data. When the application is closed, the user's data is permanently removed from the device. An optional password provides an additional layer of protection for the stored information.
